SplashZone

My friend Sarah told me about this great place--the SplashZone at Independence Lake Park.  It's a short 20 minute drive, and it is awesome!  These great sprinklers come out of the ground and continuously pump chlorinated water over a large play area.  At first I thought it was a disaster.  I carried Lydia through some of the bigger sprinklers, and she was really scared.  Once we found these little sprinklers, though, she was in heaven.  She ran from sprinkler to sprinkler, sitting down on them, and splashing around.  She cried when we finally had to leave...  We will definitely be back.
